When guests are called, why do they have to press 1 to join?
When guests are called, why do they have to press 1 to join?
Updated over a year ago

By default, when we dial-out to a guest we ask them to press 1 if they would like to join the session. There are two reasons we do this:

  • Reason 1: Ensuring that guests only join sessions they want to take part in.

  • Reason 2: Preventing voicemails or answer machines from being included in the session.

To disable the need to press 1 when receiving a Togetherly call

  1. Click on the Contacts tab located on the top navigation bar.

  2. Find the contact you want to amend by either searching for them or scrolling through the list and click on the Edit button.

  3. Switch the toggle for Do not require 'press 1' when receiving a call to green.

  4. Click Update contact to save your changes.
