The safe reveal feature in Togetherly lets befrienders quickly access emergency contact details during befriending calls. If a service user needs urgent help, befrienders can press *** on their handset to get these details.
In line with data protection regulations this will automatically create an audit trail and account administrators will be notified via email to allow you to follow up. This ensures a swift response in emergencies, keeping everyone safe.
To enable the emergency pull cord feature you need to ensure you have filled in the emergency contact details section in contact details. To do this, follow the below steps:
Go to the top navigation bar and click the Contacts tab.
Find the contact for which you want to add or amend emergency contact details and click Edit.
Update the service user's emergency contact details in the free text field.
Click Update Contact to save the changes and return to the main contact list.
Once a contact has their emergency contact details filled in the feature is activated.
