Team member permissions in Togetherly let you control who can manage your organization's account and who receives safeguarding alerts when concerns are detected during calls. ## Prerequisites - You must be an account administrator to manage team member permissions - The team member you want to edit must already be added to your account ## Steps ### Step 1: Navigate to team settings From anywhere in Togetherly, click on Settings in the navigation menu, then select Team from the settings menu. You'll see a list of all team members in your organization. ![Navigate to team settings](https://help.together.ly/rails/active_storage/blobs/proxy/eyJfcmFpbHMiOnsiZGF0YSI6MTQyLCJwdXIiOiJibG9iX2lkIn19--26c18a4b2e26415c36ae131077f9b5760657dd2f/step_0.png) ### Step 2: Select the team member to edit Find the team member whose permissions you want to change in the table. Click the Edit button next to their name to open the team member details dialog. ### Step 3: Configure safeguarding alert notifications In the Options section of the dialog, you'll see a toggle switch labeled 'Receive safeguarding alert notifications.' Turn this on if you want the team member to receive email notifications when potential safeguarding concerns are detected during calls. This is useful for safeguarding leads, managers, or anyone responsible for participant welfare. ![Configure safeguarding alert notifications](https://help.together.ly/rails/active_storage/blobs/proxy/eyJfcmFpbHMiOnsiZGF0YSI6MTQzLCJwdXIiOiJibG9iX2lkIn19--0caa328554e3c68ef5faefbcab0717e84ac645b8/step_2.png) ### Step 4: Set account administration permissions Below the safeguarding toggle, you'll find another switch labeled 'Can administer the account.' Turn this on to grant the team member full administrative access. Account administrators can manage all settings, add or remove team members, view billing information, and access all organizational features. Only grant this permission to trusted team members who need to manage the account. ### Step 5: Save your changes Once you've configured the permissions as needed, click the Save button at the bottom of the dialog. The team member's permissions will be updated immediately. If you enabled safeguarding notifications, they'll start receiving alerts when concerns are detected. If you granted admin access, they'll see administrative options throughout the platform. ## Tips - You can set these same permissions when adding a new team member by clicking the 'New team member' button - Multiple team members can receive safeguarding alerts - enable this for everyone who should be notified of concerns - Account administrators have full access to all features, so only grant this permission to people you trust completely ## Summary By configuring team member permissions appropriately, you can ensure the right people have access to sensitive alerts and administrative functions while maintaining security and proper oversight of your organization's account.
