Learn how to listen to audio recordings of your completed sessions using the built-in audio player, which displays a visual waveform for easy navigation. ## Prerequisites - Session recording must have been enabled when the session was scheduled - The session must be completed and the recording fully processed ## Steps ### Step 1: Navigate to your sessions calendar Go to the Groups section from your main dashboard. You'll see a calendar view showing all your scheduled and completed sessions. Past sessions appear with slightly faded text to distinguish them from upcoming events. ![Navigate to your sessions calendar](https://help.together.ly/rails/active_storage/blobs/proxy/eyJfcmFpbHMiOnsiZGF0YSI6MTMxLCJwdXIiOiJibG9iX2lkIn19--87b6b42c080ce5a091d4fc49514a4cf7efad9609/step_0.png) ### Step 2: Select a completed session Click on any past session from the calendar to view its summary page. Sessions are organized by date, and you can use the calendar navigation buttons (Today, Prev, Next) to browse different time periods. Both video sessions (marked with a video camera icon) and phone sessions (marked with a phone icon) may have recordings if recording was enabled. ### Step 3: View the recording player On the session summary page, you'll see the recording section at the top with an audio waveform player. The waveform displays the audio as visual bars representing sound levels throughout the recording. If the recording is still being processed, you'll see a processing message instead. Expired recordings will show a notification that they're no longer available. ![View the recording player](https://help.together.ly/rails/active_storage/blobs/proxy/eyJfcmFpbHMiOnsiZGF0YSI6MTMyLCJwdXIiOiJibG9iX2lkIn19--3c4043e658e47b27b166e2efd8458b270ea97865/step_2.png) ### Step 4: Play and control the audio Click the Play audio button to start listening to the recording. The button will change to Pause audio while playing. As the audio plays, the waveform cursor moves across the display, and the played portion appears in a darker shade. You can click anywhere on the waveform to jump to a specific point in the recording. The playback will resume from that position. ### Step 5: Download the recording If you need to save the recording for offline listening or archival purposes, click the Download button located below the Play button. This will download the audio file to your device in MP3 format, which you can then play using any standard audio player. ## Tips - Recordings are only available if recording was enabled when scheduling the session. Check your session settings before the call if you need a recording. - The waveform visualization makes it easy to identify quiet moments or active conversation periods in the recording, helping you quickly navigate to specific parts. - Downloaded recordings can be stored locally according to your organization's data retention policies and shared with team members as needed. ## Summary You can now access and listen to completed session recordings using the waveform player, pause and resume playback at any point, and download recordings for offline use or record-keeping.
