Safeguarding reports help you identify and review calls where AI analysis has detected potential concerns such as mentions of self-harm, abuse, or other safeguarding issues that may require follow-up action. ## Prerequisites - Safeguarding analysis must be enabled in your account settings - Your account must have the conversational analysis feature enabled ## Steps ### Step 1: Navigate to the Reports section From your dashboard, click on Reports in the navigation menu. You'll see three report cards: Impact Report, No-contact Report, and Safeguarding Report. The Safeguarding Report card will be available if your account has safeguarding analysis enabled (otherwise it appears grayed out with 'Unavailable'). ![Navigate to the Reports section](https://help.together.ly/rails/active_storage/blobs/proxy/eyJfcmFpbHMiOnsiZGF0YSI6MTA2LCJwdXIiOiJibG9iX2lkIn19--e6b975e2734bcfafb5c7b45cc069696b78fe105e/step_0.png) ### Step 2: Open the Safeguarding Report Click the 'View' button on the Safeguarding Report card. This will take you to the safeguarding report page where you can see all calls flagged with potential concerns. ### Step 3: Review the alert summary At the top of the report, you'll see two summary cards: Safeguarding Alerts (shown in red with a circle icon) for high-priority concerns, and Possible Concerns (shown in amber with a triangle icon) for lower-priority warnings. These numbers show the total count for your selected date range. ### Step 4: Filter and organize the results Use the filter dropdowns to narrow down the alerts. The 'All Concerns' dropdown lets you view only Alerts, only Warnings, or both. The 'No Grouping' dropdown allows you to group alerts by match (caller-recipient pairing) or by day. You can also adjust the date range using the calendar picker to review alerts from specific time periods. ### Step 5: View individual call details The table shows each flagged call with its date, session participants, reference number, and alert level (red circle for alerts, amber triangle for possible concerns). Click the 'View call' button next to any entry to see the full details of that specific call. ### Step 6: Review the safeguarding alert details On the call details page, you'll see the Recording section at the top where you can play the audio. Below that, the Safeguarding card shows the alert level and provides a detailed explanation of what concerns were detected in the conversation. Red alerts indicate serious concerns requiring immediate follow-up, while amber warnings suggest topics that may need monitoring. If you have safeguarding configuration permissions, you can click the 'Reprocess' button to re-run the AI analysis with updated safeguarding rules. ### Step 7: Take appropriate action Based on the safeguarding information provided, follow your organization's safeguarding protocols. This may include contacting the service user directly, escalating to a safeguarding lead, notifying relevant authorities, or documenting the concern in your case management system. Always treat red alerts as requiring urgent attention. ## Tips - Check the safeguarding report regularly (at least weekly) to ensure timely follow-up on any concerns that arise during calls. - Red alerts (safeguarding alerts) should be reviewed immediately and acted upon according to your organization's safeguarding procedures, while amber warnings (possible concerns) may indicate patterns that need monitoring over time. - Use the grouping options to identify patterns - grouping by match can help you spot recurring concerns with specific service users, while grouping by day can help you review all alerts from a particular time period. ## Summary Safeguarding reports provide a centralized way to monitor and respond to AI-detected concerns in your calls. Regular review of these alerts ensures vulnerable individuals receive timely support and helps your organization maintain high safeguarding standards.
