Initiating a befriending Call
The befriender dials 0300 373 0960 from their phone. (Only the befriender can do this)
Our system will automatically identify the befriender based on their telephone number.
The system will recognise the service user matched with the befriender.
The call is automatically initiated, connecting the befriender with their matched service user.
For befrienders with multiple matches
When the befriender dials the 0300 373 0960 number, they will be prompted to select which service user they would like to connect to, using their telephone keypad.
For example, to connect to John, they can press 1, and to connect to Anne, they can press 2.
